About Us!

     In 2005 we purchased the family farm and moved to the country in search of a more peaceful lifestyle.  SunCrest Orchard has been producing peaches on 8 acres of land for the past 32 years and continues in that tradition today with approximately 3800 peach trees of different varieties. 

     In 2006 we decided to give our children an opportunity to raise animals on the farm and started  with chickens.  After the devastation of a one night massacre on 30 chickens by a family of raccoons we decided to end our foul adventure and explore  other options.  Sheep were too noisy,  cows were too big,  pigs were too smelly  but alpacas seemed just right!  The size of the animals wasn't overwhelming for the boys to handle,  they were quiet animals and they produced fiber that could be spun into yarn,.......Bonus!  We had no idea that these gentle spirited creatures would steal our hearts forever!

     Today nestled in the heart of peach and wine country overlooking Mount Garfield you will find SunCrest Orchard Alpacas, LLC.  We maintain a herd of approximately 35 alpacas and welcome visitors to experience the joy that we now experience in our daily lives.
